オリジナル・アルバムとしては『STATE OF AFFAIRS』以来11年ぶりのアルバム。
当初2005年に発売予定されていたが、2006年6月20日にオリジナル・メンバーのCharles Smithが亡くなるという最も大きな悲しみがあり、さらにボーカルのRodney Ellisの脱退あったりしたが、先行発売の"Steppin Into Love"では、なんと1989年の"Never Give Up"以来のチャート返り咲きを果たし、さらには2006/4/16付のBillboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales Chartで7位を記録するという快挙を成し遂げた。
今回は23歳の若き新生Jirmad Gordonを迎え新しい魅力満載のアルバムに仕上がった。
