 邦題『開けゴマ！』そのまんまです。このアルバムは初期盤は真ん中から開く見開きジャケットで開くと海賊の格好したギャングたちの顔が出てきます。（笑）サウンド的にはまたまた前作とは違った試みで、ビックリです。「OPEN SESAME」ではクール独特の分厚いホーンは健在ながら、いままでに無いソフトタッチの曲などバラエティに富んだアルバムに仕上げてます。

「OPEN SESAME」は映画『サタデイ・ナイト・フィーバー』にも使われました。これも時代ですね・・
