遂に出ました！今までクールのボーカルは、自慢のホーンだったのが・・ジェイムズ“JT”テイラーをリード・ボーカルに！このJT。クールに入る前は、学校の先生をしていたという変わり種。がしかし、ルックス良し、歌も良しで低迷期だったクールを一躍トップグループにしてしまいました。70年代の人気の数倍もの人気グループに・・・そして忘れては行けないのは、今までセルフ・プロデュースの形を取ってきたクールたちが、ブラジルの奇才といわれるあの「エミール・デオダート」に全面的に身をゆだねた事。
多くの昔からのファンはサウンドが大きく変わった事にショックは隠せませんでしたが、クールはクール！！ファンク魂は今でも忘れてはいません！！そして、JTのボーカルもカッコイイです。ここからまた新しい快進撃の始まりです。
